Hey everyone! I have arrived in Denver, Colorado, for the 2010 conference of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication! It will be a busy couple of days – I will be presenting our paper entitled “The Correspondent, the Comic, and the Combatant: How moderator style and guest civility shape news credibility” at 5:15 on Friday evening. This paper won a top-three faculty paper award in the Communication Theory & Methodology Division – congratulations to all my co-authors on this achievement! I will also be attending numerous other presentations and enjoying many opportunities to mingle and meet my fellow scholars, because you can’t work all the time. š I might update the blog if I find some fascinating new ideas that I can’t wait to share, but otherwise I’ll be offline for the next couple of weeks. Enjoy the news in the meantime without my commentary (if that’s still possible)!
