The Political Communication Interest Group held its first inaugural meeting last night at AEJMC. The group elected Tom Johnson, of the University of Texas-Austin, as our new Head.

In the course of the meeting, I have been elected the new graduate student liaison for the group. I will be keeping my readers updated on developments – and if you have any feedback for me about the direction that you think the group should take, please let me know! We are very interested in getting feedback from students and professors alike on how we can make this group more interesting and valuable to all of our members – and all of our soon-to-be members.

AEJMC Denver was a lot of fun this year, but was also one of the busiest conferences that I have attended. I’m looking forward to spending the next ten days camping with my husband before returning to Madison.
